Do I need a referral from my physician?

No, CRG does not require a referral to schedule an appointment. However, your insurance provider may require one for coverage, so we recommend checking your benefits in advance.

How do I know what services to ask for?

You don’t need to have it all figured out. Our Intake Team will talk through your concerns and help guide you to the most appropriate provider and services.

What happens at the first appointment?

Your first visit is focused on understanding your concerns, gathering background information, and determining next steps for care.

If I’m a parent, what should I tell my child?

We recommend being honest in a way your child can understand. A calm and positive approach can help your child feel more comfortable about the visit.

Will CRG coordinate with my physician or other providers?

Yes, with your written consent, we can collaborate with other providers involved in your or your child’s care to ensure a coordinated approach.

Will insurance cover my appointments?

Coverage varies depending on your plan. We recommend contacting your insurance provider to confirm your mental health benefits and coverage details.

Do you file to my insurance?

Yes, CRG will submit claims on your behalf. However, if you are out-of-network, payment is required at the time of service, and reimbursement (if applicable) is sent directly to you.

Do I need prior authorization?

Some insurance plans require prior authorization. We recommend checking with your provider before your appointment to avoid delays or denials.

Why am I paying in full at the time of service?

For out-of-network plans, payment is collected upfront because insurance reimbursements are typically sent directly to the patient.

Why does my EOB show a lower “allowed amount” than what I paid?

CRG participates only with the Sagamore network and does not adjust fees based on other insurers' allowable rates. You are responsible for the full service fee.

Does CRG accept Medicare, Medicaid, or TRICARE?

CRG does not accept or file claims to Medicare, Medicaid, TRICARE, or ICHIA.

Can I keep a credit card on file?

Yes, this is optional and can be set up for convenience with automatic payments. You will not be enrolled without your consent.
